You are unsure how to fulfil your potential while making a great living.
You are at a turning point, feeling stuck, anxious, frustrated or uncertain what your next steps are.
I have tried and tested tools for finding peace, insight and purpose in your life.
I help you free yourself from judgements about what you are capable of and wade through mental and emotional confusion so you can find a clearer way forward.
I help you find deeper meaning doing work you are passionate about and the freedom and flexibility to decide on your own schedule and lifestyle.
I help you feel calm, content and at peace with yourself and your life.
In 1994 I left University to start my real education- learning about the ancient philosophies of yoga and meditation, practising with yogis for a year. They taught me about purifying my diet, life and being. My yoga and meditation practice spans over twenty years up to today.
I started my apprenticeship and training in body work and counselling resulting in diplomas in zen shiatsu (Devon School of Shiatsu) in 2002 and counselling (Sacred Space Institute of Counselling and Psychotherapy) in 2003.
I worked with natural remedies such as aromatherapy, herbal medicines and flower essences for a decade. They are still an essential part of my day to day life.
For five years I had the good fortune to encounter the sacred mysteries of the Kogi and Lakota shamanic paths through my work assisting sweat lodges and plant medicine ceremonies in South America with Heart of the Initiate.
In 2010 a whole new chapter began when I started life coach training with Dr. Martha Beck, culminating in life and master coach certification in 2011 and 2014 respectively. Dr. Martha Beck has been referred to as “the best known life coach in America.” By USA Today and Psychology Today.
I learnt effective techniques, new perspectives and the dedication required to give you traction on the path of self-mastery.
Besides my one to one consultations, I speak publicly on topics related to wellness and human potential at organisations such as Singtel, Microsoft, Citibank, National Youth Council, Health Promotion Board, Dow Jones and events such as the Holistic Festival and the Heart, Mind and Body Festival.
I have been featured in Executive Lifestyle, Time Out, Her World, Female and Finder magazines and on WKRZ 91.3, 93.8 Live, Class 95 FM, Razor TV and Primetime Morning on Channel News Asia.
Something more personal.
Like many Eurasian Singaporeans I enjoy eating, especially fresh whole organic and unprocessed foods.
Durians and avocados are my favourites, not necessarily in that order.
Karl Marx and Noam Chomsky are my intellectual crushes. I try to keep abreast of socio-political issues. At some point my inner personal development felt like it wanted to connect to the world around me and my community. I believe in signing petitions, speaking out in support of social causes and being a part of creating a reciprocal, sustainable and inclusive world in a practical and grassroots way.
Reading Wade Davis inspires me no end.
I get out on my bike as much as I can wearing too much sunblock while navigating the lush inner path and wonder of day to day living.
‘Working with you was an awakening and a release at the same time. You made me realise that the answers were within me all the time and that I knew what should be done but was afraid or too guilty to act on it.
As a coach, you are very warm but also very firm so it is important for those coming into this journey to already have made the decision to improve themselves and to be open to changing their own mind-sets in order to make it fruitful and beneficial to their lives.
I used to go for sessions only when something goes wrong and then would stop until the next disaster strikes. This is not the way to improve in the long run. It is essential to have these sessions regularly and not just in times of trouble – like food for the soul.’
Hairani Joshi, Director, Singapore Sports Museum & Singapore Youth Olympic Museum
I had a definite shift and it still feels great! You provided a safe place and skillfully guided me in releasing and reshaping the thoughts that were causing me so much pain. You’re an amazing coach and I’m really grateful you’re out there offering people the opportunity to express their best selves!!!’
Melissa Wirt, Life Coach and Personal Trainer

Her intuition and ingenuity will take you deep into your self, shine a light, and then help you clear the debris away to uncover the heart of the matter. She has given me illuminating new ways of seeing myself, compassion for myself, and gentle but powerful nudges toward completing my goals. You would be very lucky to have her on your side.’
Dr. Anu Gupta, Mind Body Coach
‘Michelle is a heart-centred coach who is inspiring in her unwavering attitude to stay true to the path of knowledge. I’ve had the benefit of her encouragement, and that has allowed me to take the plunge towards the most amazing experiences in my life. May she continue to infect her clients with the same humour, warmth and passion so that they will allow themselves to live their fullest potential.’
Vivian Salim, Owner, Yoga in Common Singapore
‘I would glowingly recommend you to anyone needing a guide for their transformation, especially sensitive souls who need a nurturing coach.
After working with you I have more trust in myself. You planted the seeds for bravery and a thirst for integrity. I learned about collaboration, accountability, how to trust in my abilities and the courage to try things out. You didn’t push any agenda on me and allowed whatever needed to come out to have its time to flow. And you didn’t make me dependent, you urged me to fly from the nest quickly!
You are gentle, calm yet cognisant of the need for establishing boundaries for both client and coach. You are truly professional and not just a coach but also a wonderful speaker and group facilitator.’
Marixi Salud, Endorsed Mind-Body Coach
Michelle has great knowledge and is able to determine the individual abilities and needs of her clients. Her pleasant and positive attitude is a great asset to her willingness to work with clients at their own level. She instills confidence and encouragement to make you want to work further and apply her methodologies diligently.
Stephanie Ang, Business Development & Talent Management
‘Michelle is a guiding light and voice of reason. I have consulted her professionally a number of times and have always come away more at peace with myself. She has a wonderful approach to people and a comfortable demeanor. Michelle has become an essential part of my life.’
Colette Wong, Sports Journalist, ESPN Star Sports
‘Yours is a pure and simple guidance to self improvement sans the commercial trappings. You don’t create a dependency for people to latch upon your services. You are genuine about the fact that change/growth takes work and may involve discomfort. You’re not some quick-fix motivator and you are honest with your clients about this. You are personable but don’t take nonsense.
What I also like about you is your compassion and ability to relate. Your gentle guidance and honesty. You listen without prejudice/don’t sit on a high horse and judge. You made me see and acknowledge my own wisdom and empowered me.
For people who want to see someone who actually takes an interest in their client and wants to empower them and create an awareness towards their spiritual growth. You are the perfect balance between life and spiritual coaching.
You have helped me recognise my true virtue and the power within myself to live my mission. Through your well researched techniques, insight and wisdom, you guided me to tapping into my own wisdom and helped me create a reservoir within to draw my own resources and work through my own challenges. Something within me has changed and evolved for the better, and you have a significant part to play in that metamorphosis.’
Sherlin Giri, Lecturer and Trainer
